Do you ever get home from the grocery store and realize you’ve forgotten half of what you need? Me too! That’s why I created this perpetual grocery list!
I like to keep this printable in the front of my house planner. Then each week as I’m planning my meals and ordering my groceries, I can grab my list to make sure the essentials aren’t forgotten.
This printable was born out of necessity. I would get home from picking up my grocery order and realize I’d forgotten food for the dog. Or I’d forget snacks for the kids. Then I’d have to make another trip back into the store. Hard pass!
Saving Myself Grocery Trips
My family, The Villagers, are very serious when it comes to food HA! I always post the dinner menu or I’ll be asked at least 47 times a day what we are having. Leaving things out of the order causes a few bumps.
Besides forgetting the dog food, I’ve forgotten fruit, milk, salad stuff, basically everything on my list. A few weeks, I was so focused on getting my meal ingredients, I forgot everything else. This resulted in multiple trips to the store. My own personal kind of torture.
So in an effort to save my sanity, I created this perpetual grocery list. I figured if I was going to make a list, I’d want a pretty one. Then I figured if I was going to make a pretty one, I might as well share it. I hope it helps you as much as it does me!
